Enrolment Process

1

Explore whether our programme is the right fit by calling Fairbridge College (between 8.30 am and 4 pm weekdays) to discuss the young person’s suitability for the programme and the programme’s suitability for the young person. We will also request a referral form from the student’s most recent school.

2

The potential student, along with their parent/carer, attends a tour of the College and meets with a member of the leadership team to discuss the College’s ethos and expectations. At this time, there will also be a discussion of the student’s needs and previous academic history.

3

In order to be considered for enrolment, the parent/carer will be required to complete an enrolment form and return the necessary paperwork to the College. Receipt of the enrolment form does not necessarily mean the student has been granted a place in the College.

4

If the application is successful and there is space available, the Head of School will invite the young person to start on a probationary basis. If, after the probationary period, the young person is found not to be suitable, staff are able to work with the young person and their family to identify other alternative options. PLEASE NOTE: Fairbridge College enrols students throughout the year; however, if a spot is not immediately available, the young person will be placed on a waiting list.
